Your content

You keep ownership of what you upload. You give Oreon HQ the licence needed to store, transcode, and show it on Oreon Watch. Don't upload anything you don't have the rights to. See our DMCA process for takedowns and counter-notices.

No ads

Oreon Watch shows no ads. It is funded by Supporters, tips, and memberships.

Inactive videos

To keep storage costs (and the service) free, a video that has gone 12 months without a counted view is permanently deleted. The period may be changed by Oreon HQ (never below 3 months), and the cleanup can be paused.

• We tell you by in-app notification and email 30 days and again 7 days before deletion. A video is never deleted without the 7-day notice.
• Any counted view resets the clock.
• Supporters' videos never expire. If a Supporter subscription ends, the countdown resumes from the last view, and you get at least 7 days' notice.
• Deletion is permanent: the video files, thumbnails, captions, comments, statistics, and playlist entries are removed. Original upload files can take up to 14 more days to be erased from storage, because of our write-protection lock.

Accounts

You can delete your account at any time from Settings. We may suspend accounts that break the community rules. You can appeal from Studio.
